It's an established fact that a timesharing holiday offers a much more luxurious experience than a package holiday but why do people continue to spend vast amounts of money on package deals?
I think (in my limited experience) what stops most people who holiday from investing in timeshare is fear (Timeshares bad reputation) and lack of knowledge.
Admittedly the timeshare industry has had a reputation of overpricing, hard sell and mis-selling but if you buy a timeshare from a resale company, you purchase at your own pace, you become fully armed with the facts before you decide.. (maintenance fees/exchange costs) and you have the choice of resort to own at, all from the comfort of your own home and preferably with a cup of tea and cake.
There are additional benefits of owning a timeshare.
Bonus weeks: Late availability weeks from £129 per week for an apartment, exceptional value.
Exchanging: You don't have to go back to the same resort each year, you can exchange (through specialist companies) with other owners around the world.
Banking: If you're unable to holiday one year ( God forbid ) you can deposit your weeks with your friendly exchange company to take double time next year. Or you can draw on future time to have 4 weeks one year.
